Akaki Adventist Mission School is one of Ethiopia’s oldest and most respected educational institutions, located in Akaki Kality Sub-City, Addis Ababa. The school was originally founded in the early 1940s as part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s mission to provide holistic, high-quality education that develops the mind, body, and character of every student.

At its beginning, the school served as a training center for boys, focusing on both academic knowledge and practical skills. Over time, it expanded its curriculum and opened its doors to both boys and girls, officially becoming Akaki Adventist Mission School. Through decades of growth, dedication, and service, the school has evolved into a modern K–12 institution providing education from Kindergarten to Preparatory levels.

Today, Akaki Adventist Mission School serves over 2,000 students supported by a team of qualified teachers, administrators, and support staff who are committed to maintaining academic excellence and moral integrity. The school continues to uphold the Adventist values of discipline, responsibility, service, and lifelong learning.
